Blues on the Green at Cobblestones
February 13 @ 5:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Laura Collins and the Back Porch Band are excited to be coming over to Greytown to headline our first Blues on the Green on Sunday 13 February from 5pm until 8.30pm.
Laura and the Back Porch Band are local favourites having been to Greytown before. Laura says they love playing here. If you haven’t heard them in the past you can count on having an enjoyable time listening to their back porch blend of acoustic ballads and blues.
Along with Laura’s originals you can expect a live show to cover alt-country tunes from the likes of Gillian Welch and John Hiatt, a little BB, a little Koko, some Muddy Waters and many more with soulful vocals, fiery accordion, sweet lap steel and mandolin, fine guitar pickin’ and warm upright bass.
We’ve also got local band Dragonfly as our opening act.
Cobblestones Trustees are delighted to put on this event as part of the 50th anniversary celebrationswith the support of a grant from Greytown Community Board..
