September 30 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Girl on Stilts

Come and join us for all the fun of a Country Fete, explore our heritage buildings and enjoy lots of activities – including Victorian washerwomen showing how the early settlers washed their clothes, try your hand at milking our model cow. There will be old fashioned games such as stilt walking, hula hoops, hobby horses, and quoits. There will be Face Painting, and lots of stalls with local flowers, crafts and other goodies for sale. And a special old fashioned plate photographer. Dress in Victorian costume to have a wet plate tintype photo to take home.

Ride the old fire engine to Cobblestones from The Town Hall, from 11am – 3pm or make your own way there.

Cafe open for lunch from 11am with deliciously warming soup, sausage sizzle, Devonshire teas, coffee, sweet treats and more.

Cobblestones Museum & Early Settlers Village is a fascinating heritage venue for all ages right in the heart of Greytown.
