Cobblestones Spring Fair is an iconic event and a great family fun day out during the school holidays.

There will be the cutest baby farm animals, games for the children, produce, food, trash and treasure stall, lucky dip and plants for sale.

Dressing up in Victorian costume is encouraged (but optional)

Gates open 11.00am – Koha entry.

All proceeds support the preservation of our heritage buildings, grounds and collections.

When the lights go out… the past comes alive.

Dare to walk the the pathways of Cobblestones Museum after dark—where shadows move on their own, and whispers echo through the trees.
Follow the ghostly lantern light through haunted church, eerie relics, the graveyard and beware of ghosts and ghouls.

Historical horrors. Paranormal presences.
One night only. Are you brave enough to face what lurks behind doors, in the trees, around the corners and  comes out of the past?

Costumes encouraged. Nerves of steel required.

Courage, characters, and community were the cornerstones of Victorian life.

We are delighted to be part of the Wellington Heritage Festival – Wairarapa week end.  Visit us to enjoy a living Victorian Village experience set in. and amongst,  heritage buildings and a village Green. 

Explore how Aotearoa’s Victorian era families lived, worked and played. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy it on the village green.. Watch the kids burn off their energy playing old fashioned games and exploring the site.  Wander through the gardens and check out the museum stories and history.

Our annual Christmas Carols at Cobblestones is a not to be missed event. Held after the Rotary South Wairarapa Christmas Parade it is a huge favourite with the kids.

Join us as we celebrate Christmas in a family event with live music, carols and mayhem. Everyone is welcome, Sing your heart out, in tune or out of tune, we don’t mind. Just come and have a jolly good time. Get into the spirit and dress up as your favourite Christmas character.

Father Christmas will be there and there’ll be loads of food and a lucky dip for the kids.  For Mums and Dads there will be a Bar and time to kick back and relax with the family before Christmas.
